We are working with SharePoint 2016 OnPremise and the Site is SAML configured. we are facing an issue with search crawling with the https enabled site .No  results are fetched in the results page since crawling not happening for https sites.

We have made the below setting in Central Admin.

Farm-Level Search Settings > Ignore SSL Warnings to Yes

Also ensured that search service application is up and running.  we have done the full crawling and re-indexing from central admin, still results are not populating in search results page.

Please make sure that you are crawling the default zone. When you crawl the default zone in SharePoint, the query processor automatically maps and returns search-result URLs so that they are relative to the alternate access mapping (AAM) zone from which queries are performed. This makes it possible for users to readily view and open search results.
