Greetings fellow admins. 

I will try to keep this to the point and very simple. 

We have a working SP2013 environment, popular trends is working across the board except for one area of one site. 

We have a department site with a list of links on the left hand side, ie:

Home

projects

General info

Contacts

If I click on my Home link and proceed to get a trends usage report(through site settings - popular trends) I get zero results for this site. 

URL of not working usage report page:

http://xxxxx/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/PMO/_layouts/15/Reporting.aspx?Category=AnalyticsSite

If I click on General info and do the same I get results for this site. 

URL of working report page:

http://xxxxx/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/PMO/info/_layouts/15/Reporting.aspx?Category=AnalyticsSite

Notice each link is very similar except for the /info part, but one works and other does not.

Q:Can anyone point me in any direction or key word to google, right now google is a torrent of issues where trends is not working everywhere but none of the results explore trends not working for one location only.

Hi,

When you click Home link, you access this site: http://xxxxx/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/PMO.

When you click General info, you access this site: http://xxxxx/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/PMO/info.

These are two different sites, so you get different usage reports.

It seems that the usage reports doesn’t work fine. To fix this issue, please check if the value of EnableReceivers is True by running the following script:

aud = Get-SPUsageDefinition | where {

_.Name -like "Analytics*"}
