Hello,

Some months ago I have downloaded Visual Studio Web Developer 2010 Express edition.  I did not have any problems.

A week ago I have purchased Visual Studio Professional Edition and installed it and I am having great deal of difficulty with it.

As of now I cannot run the Visual Studio PE, as I am told to install SP1 as different components are on different versions,  I have downloaded an iso image and burned a DVD, but it fails to install.  The uninstall of Visual Studio Web Developer 2010 Express edition fails.  I have downloaded and executed "VS2010_Uninstall-RTM.ENU.exe /full /netfx" without any success.

I am attaching tail end of the log file.  Could you tell me what needs to be done?

This error occurs because you have one VS 2010 product that is upgraded to SP1 and a second VS 2010 product that is not. The fix is to rerun the install for SP1 so all products are updated.
