After the install of SP1, the source code fails build with

The entity sets have common fields such as created_date, modified_date, etc.  In the past, the code compiled and ran with no issues.  Since SP1, we get the above message.

ISSUE#2:  the project templates for ADO.NET Entity Model and "new item" templates (supposedly new) no longer are available.

We have attempted reinstalls, reboots and installs of the 4.1 Entity CTP DS, EF, EF Tools with not success.  We cannot uninstall SP1--other blogs also discourage this.

For your second issue, I am sorry that I can’t reproduce it on my machine. Just as you mentioned above, I have installed VS2010 SP1, and I can get the ADO.NET Entity Data Model shown in the new template dialog. Could you please show me your VS2010 version number? Please go to Help menu->About Microsoft Visual Studio.
