Which version of Outlook are you using ? are you able to sign in to https://outlook.office.com/owa/ with the same account?

If you have MDA enabled, you should use an outlook version which is compatible with Modern Authentication. 2013 SP1 and above should work. You also need to enable Modern Authentication on the client side and Server side as well.
