I have a connectivity issue with a VM, the base is windows server 2016, with a nested Linux environment ( in hyper-v), this nested VM is connected to an external switch, which is connected to the correct LAN connection.. Still I can't reach the guest VM from outside the host Machine ( other Azure VM in same subnet ) When I read about it on the internetforums, an internal switch is advised instead of the external switch.
