We are trying to create the responsive site for one of client's intranet portal in SharePoint 2013. There are lots of pages contains the list and document library.

When we are trying to reduce the size the contents of page is showing fine in other devices like mobile and ipad.

Please help us that the responsive design is possible for list and document libraries. Also let us know if we can implement responsive design for systems pages (site settings, user permission pages etc.)

This will be bit complex if you want to make list and library pages as responsive. All these pages are render through XSLT, you might need to overwrite the HTML markup with itemstyle.xsl and headerstyle.xsl files. you can find these files at /Style Librar/ XSL Style Sheets/. Please make sure to take backup copy because if something gets wrong, all the list/form view pages will stop working.

I only used these itemstyle.xsl to write my own style templates, so i will suggest to write your own style template and change the list view template from web part properties.
