Do you mean that you're getting such output in the page layout? If so, alternative approach would be to use custom control which would display the value of the particular field. Instead of using the standard approach (override the RenderContents method) you would override the Render method. Please notice that depending on the functionality your control might not take full part in the life cycle of the controls on the page.
