I've created a task list and opened it in MS Project where I nested some of the tasks. I love that SharePoint displays this nesting but I want to create a view displaying a subset of tasks without displaying their parent tasks.

Per my knowledge, there is no OOB way to remove the nesting for subtasks.

If you use a filter to match a subtask, the parent task of the subtask will also be displayed as nesting.
