I can not get Sharepoint to install...I have successfully installed and deployed Sharepoint 2013 Foundation, but I am unable to get Sharepoint Server Trial, Standard or Enterprise to install.

They all fail with the same error...during installation the installer will quit and state that Sharepoint cannot install due to an error. I've found other posts with the same issue, but none of the suggested fixes work.

First, make sure you are using SharePoint 2013 with SP1 already included.  the RTM version of SharePoint 2013 will not install on Server 2012 r2.  Since I don't think there is a trial version available that already includes SP1 I suspect you are using the regular RTM release.
