I am trying to monitor Azure Functions and App Services using Wavefront via REST API. I able to get metrics under "Microsoft.Web/sites" namespace with dimensions "subscription", "region/location" and "resourcegroup". But there is no dimension to differentiate between the app types. 

On azure portal, under App Service I can see "App Type", "Status" and "App Service Plan" data is available. If you provide these data as dimensions with metrics, that will be very helpful in monitoring Azure Function app, Web app, Mobile app, API app by "App Type".
