I installed VS6.0 on a PC running XP 2003 service pack 3. After experiencing a VS6.0 crash when I used file/open I checked the discussion
forums and found that I needed to install VS6 service pack 6. Ran the setupsp6.exe install.  Although says that it installed correctly I do not think that it did since it installs way too fast. I get the completed dialog box in about 15 seconds after I hit 'Agree'. I tried to re-boot after the install and I still
have the file/open VS6.0 crash problem. Thanks for any input.
