I was facing problems initially with SPD 2013 workflow where the Wait action ( Wait for field to equal value ). Here the comparison factor just remains to equal, it doesn't change as it works in IF statements. Due to that I thought of creating calculated columns for all the corresponding fields. But I have a couple of fields with type "Multiple Lines Of Text" and I am not able to refer those columns in the formulas. Any Suggestions/solution on this? Please help, Thanks in advance.

Text, number, datetime, choice, workflowstatus, boolean and calculated are available for Calculated column formulas.  If you need to use text from a multiline column, use a workflow to get that text, operate on it, and then push it into a text column to make it available.  Note however that the text column has a maximum ~256 character size.
