I have a Cloud Service (classic) which has a Staging and Production. On the Staging I am unable to Enable any of my 4 roles via the Remote Desktop. I require the rdp connection to debug why my roles are not starting up properly after a deployment.

From the Azure Portal, I select the Cloud Service (classic) that is of interest. I then select the Staging. After selecting the tab called Remote Desktop, I select all or just 1 role (both situations do not work). In terms of certificates I have tried two thing:

(1) A certificate - I enter in a random username and password with it’s confirmation. I say it will expire in 1 day. And I use an existing encryption certificate that I normal use for the staging server. This expires in 2019.

(2) No certificate - In my configuration which I set at deployment, no roles have certificates. 

云服务的操作系统版本(经典)为2016.

The OS version of the cloud service (classic) is 2016.

It takes about 15 minutes to save and then comes back with Failed to save.

错误消息是:

无法保存远程桌面设置.

Failed to save Remote Desktop settings for deployment slot 'cinetserver'. Error: There was an error processing your request. Try again in a few moments.

I have tried numerous times. I have also re-deployed and tried again.

What am I doing wrong to enable the remote desktop feature on this role please?
