I have a sharepoint 2013 server setup, but I am in the process of setting up an always on high availability group for the database server. The problem is that I now have 2 servers and I need to point the configuration database to the listener IP, but the people who originally setup this server used the IP address of the server as the servername. I have tried to use the sql aliasing to repoint the old IP to the new IP, but it doesn't seem to be working. Any ideas how I can make this work?
