Hello guys
I need your help. My interview is scheduled in a company. They are into .NET technology. They are going take my interview on windows application development.
I have worked on web development. So i am familiar with Asp.net, C#, .NET framework, MS SQL, ADO.NET. But i have no idea about what they will ask if they want windows application developer.
Please tell me the topics that i should prepare. Please let me know if you have any document or link or ebook.

Well, if its application development that means Windows Forms (or might even mean WPF). Certainly, get your head around the System.Windows.Forms namespace. Get to know some of the controls.

Also, you''ll likely need to know how to communicate with a Server for client/server systems. This doesn''t really exist typically in ASP.NET. Have a look at Remoting, or WCF if they''re ''with it''. You may even use traditional asmx webservices which you''re probably familiar with.

Threading - they always ask about that. And for Heavens sake, make sure you know about cross-thread invocation in GUI - that question is a cert.
