I solved the problem by making a dictionary

var colors : [String:UIColor] = ["White": UIColor.whiteColor(), "Black": 
UIColor.blackColor(), "Gray": UIColor.grayColor(),"Turquoise":

UIColor.redColor(),"Yellow":UIColor.yellowColor(),"Blue": UIColor.blueColor(), 
"Green": UIColor.greenColor()]
