A97 incorporates a new twist on the use of db-clik. If you use A97,
you know what I mean. Maybe it deserves explanation...
Let''s say you have a macro and you open it to browse. Lets say
it has an OpenQuery action in it and the query name is
qryMyVeryGreatBigAndSuperLongAccessQueryName. Now
suppose you want to copy that name to paste it somewhere
else. Its too long and hangs off the right margin of the entry
field, so hiliting it would be much quicker if you dbl-click it
instead of positioning the pointer and the beginning and
carefully dragging to the right. But lo and behold, what is
hilited after your dbl-clik is not what you double-clicked,
but rather the next item in the list. God forbid that in add''n
to browsing the macro, you made a change up top, adding
a few things and modifying others. You might just not notice
that dbl-clicking the query name field cause a change and
after saving upon exit, you have mistakenly modified your
macro. This is quite easy to do when you have names like
qryMyVeryGreatBigAndSuperLongAccessQueryName1 and
qryMyVeryGreatBigAndSuperLongAccessQueryName2.
I don''t like it. This is the place to say it, so I am. And I''m
asking the rest of you folks what you think.
Side-shot: does anyone know how many BETA testers
(real life people who use it for a living) are generally charged
with pre-release evaluations of the new Access products?

you are in a module and you wish to select a word
in the middle of a line, do you use keyboard combos
to do it?
