I have 2 On Premise 2 MFA servers one as Master and 2one as slave.. Now if i am upgrading the secondary (Slave) server with the latest MFA version will that hamper the master MFA server? or is that i need to break the sync between Master and slave before doing the application up gradation. Please suggest us on what should be the best practice

Upgrading the secondary server will not impact the Master server. While doing the in-place upgrade, the server will not be able to handle any 2FA requests. If you are load balancing the requests between secondary and master server, then remove the secondary node from load balancing.
