回答您的第一个问题： 

如果您有站点到站点，指向站点或快速路由到Azure虚拟网络，您可以使用专用IP地址到RDP在内部连接到资源。  ;

如果您没有上述连接方法，并且想要从外部连接到Azure，则可以使用公共IP进行连接。 

您可以使用Putty通过SSH连接到VM。确保使用公共IP地址在Network Security Group上将端口22打开到外部SSH。

Hi,

I connected Azure VM using RDP exe successfully. There are two options in RDP; using Public IP and using Private IP.

Please let me know pros & cons of both and which one is recommenced?

To connect using SSH, I tried to Putty but not connected.

Hi, 

To answer your first question: 

If you have Site to Site, Point to Site or Express Route to Azure Virtual Network, you can use Private IP address to RDP to connect to the resources internally. 

If you don't have the above connectivity methods, and you want to connect to Azure externally, then you can use public IP to connect. 

You can use Putty to connect to VM via SSH. Make sure you open port 22 on Network Security Group to SSH externally using public IP address.
