We have completed the Windows Hardware Lab Kit (HLK) test for Windows 10 using the "Basic" compatibility playlist.

The Compatibility playlist came from Microsoft.

Is there such a Compatibility playlist for the Windows Hardware Certification Kit (HCK) - for Windows 8.1 and older OS.

The HCK test is quite long and most of the test do NOT apply to our hardware. We've posted this question to Microsoft's hardware dev portal twice - No response. :(

Any tips or any lead provided will be appreciated? Thanks!

Hi,

The answer is NO, the compatibility Playlist was introduced in the Hardware Lab Kit (HLK) where in the older kits QFE's were being released to add/remove/fix tests.
