I am trying to learn how to have Lync recognize the Kinect Sensor. I want the ability for Lync to use the Kinect Sensor video and audio. I understand how to change the device within Lync client UI (tools -> options -> Video Device or Audio Device). Once I understand that, I should be able to figure out how to do this programmatically with C#. The goal is to programmatically take the Kinect video stream and send it to Lync for another Lync client to see. (I already have Kinect Sensor code examples on how to do this.) Once that is complete, then the audio is next. The ultimate goal is to programmatically iterate over all four Kinect sensors - switching cameras on the fly - using Lync with voice commands.

I have seen blogs from 2010 saying this is going to happen soon. But, I have not been able to locate any Lync code examples to add an existing driver or to show how to connect the Kinect Sensor to Lync. I was not able to identify an example in the Lync SDK. (Perhaps I overlooked it.) Any assistance or direction will be appreciated.
