I was testing RAMDISK on WEC7. It's performance is very slow when compared to WinCE 5.0.

When i copy a 4MB file to the RAM DRIVE it takes time around 1035ms(around 1sec) where as on wince 5.0 it takes just 270ms. Why is that it is slow? Am i missing something? should i do some special configuration for Windows Embedded compact 7? the source files are the same for both platforms.
