I'm trying to setup RD Web with or without RD Gateway with AD FS and WAP. All on 2012 R2.

I might be missing something here, but what bits of info have you seen that suggests this is possible? You can publish OWA as a non-claims aware web application via the WAP, but I don't think that extends to Remote Desktop scenarios for SSO.
