I have a swim lane diagram with 3 lanes. Something is preventing me from changing the width of the lanes. I think that there is some sort of locking or grouping that is preventing this. Do you know how to remove this restriction?

Hi,

Based on your description, your problem may related to shape locked in Visio.

I suggest you select the shape- go to Developer tab- Protection- make sure all the options are not checked (You can select None to clear) as shown in the following figure:
