Hi,

I am new to WinCE development but have experience on Windows mobile. So, just wants to know as i have VS 2008 installed on machine along with WM SDKs, what else have to install to get ready for WiNCE 6.0 development.

As i am working on GPS tracing application, so can i need any other SDKs or tools.

Is this question relating application development or kernel development?

If application dev:

All you need is the SDK rolled for the device you are targeting. Note that there is no "standard" SDK for Windows CE devices (as there is for Windows Mobile devices) because the configuration of Windows CE devices is determined by the OEM, not through a predefined set of mandatory components (as with WinMo). 

If kernel dev:

If for Windows CE 6.0 R3, then you need Platform Builder for Windows CE 6.0 and VS 2005 (which comes with Platform Builder so you don't have to buy separately, in fact, you can't buy VS2K5 alone anymore).

If for WEC7, then you need Platform Builder for Windows Embedded Compact 7 and VS 2008 (not sure if VS2k8 is bundled with PB4WEC7, but I think it is, or at least it should ;))
