Hello all,

 

I'm using RNDIS USB function in my Wince 6.0 device.

When i connect it to my PC, a new network adapter is created and i am able to connect to my device via the usb connection.

What i need is to configure my device to always have the same IP when i connect it to my PC.

Does anyone know how to set a static IP to the RNDIS usb function?

I've tried adding the next entries to my platform.reg file without success...

Hi,

I use the same kind of registry setup to specify a static IP address for the RNDIS interface.

Did you veriify REGINIT.INI in _FLATRELEASEDIR that your changes actually made it into the image.

I often forget that making changes in PLATFORM.REG requires to either call "Copy Files to Release Directory" from the "Build" menu or copy the file manually into _FLATRELEASEDIR before calling MAKEIMG.
