I've got a Visio with a custom, grouped master. Instances of this master are being populated with data linked from an Excel spreadsheet.

This was all working fine until I tried to add a new column of data to the Excel. After refreshing the data in Visio (which showed correctly) I added the new shape data to the master group and a new field to show the data value.

The existing instances of the master showed the box for the new field, but did not populate the data. If I change the formula to point to one of the original columns of data then it updates correctly. Moving it back to the new column of data just leaves the previous value in the box.

If I look at the shape data for the instance then it is pulling the value through correctly, and if I create a new linked instance from the master then the values are correct. It only seems to be the instances created before including the new column which are stuck.

I have tried deleting all the links and auto-creating them again, but no luck.
