Recently my 30 day trial period for VS Community 2015 has expired and now whenever i open the IDE, sign in to visual studio window pops up.why is there a 30 day trial if a the community version is free and why am i being asked to sign in? does this mean upon successful signing in ill be able to continue using the IDE ?Besides, the main problem is whenever i click the button to sign in or the link to add an account a new window(sign in to visual studio) pops up, which is simply a blank white window with no options or nothing.what's the problem, why am i getting this blank white window? I was currently in the middle of my project and had to face this weird problem, so please help me.

Hi rj625,

You have to register Visual Studio Community edition to make your license permanent, you need to sign in with your account. Sign in to register your Visual Studio Community 2015 for free further use.

And about your blank sign in page you can try to run Visual Studio as an administrator, if that dont help you, than you can backup your projects and try some of commands for devenv:

1.devenv.exe  /safemode
2.devenv.exe  /resetskippkgs
3.devenv.exe  /installvstemplates

The devenv.exe can be located under your VS location/Common7/IDE

If above commands dont help you on this problem, I am afraid that you have to install VS2015 again or simply try to repair it from control panel...
