Hi, I am new here, I'm using the free Microsoft Translator (2million characters / month) plan.

I was wondering what happens if I run out of my allowed limit, i.e. 2 million characters in one month. Will all the requests return an error or will I be automatically upgraded to the next available plan?

I want to know this before integrating this into something that I am working on.

after you run out of characters on a free subscription, the API will respond with an error. You will get another 2 million at next month's anniversary of your subscription: the same day you subscribed, next month.

You can avoid running our of characters by subscribing to the lowest level of the paid subscription, for US

40 per month, and choose auto-renew. With auto-renew, you are automatically re-subscribed when you run out of credit, at the same volume, starting a new subscription month that day. You'll have another 30 days to use up the subscribed volume.
