Hi, when i install TFS2008 and verifies sharepoint the central administration is ok but it keeps telling that the site at the default site url is not the default web site collection site, i have tried WSS 3 basic setup with default site and as part of a farm and build a site from scratch but no luck, any ideas? thanx

It is not clear what provisioning steps you applied, but it is important to note that when you install SharePoint yourself or use an existing farm, you are responsible for the initial provisioning of SharePoint (either 2.0 or 3.0).  This can be done either via the Central Administration site or via command line tools.  I don't think we have published official documentation on either of these (although we have published information on using WSS 3.0 w/ TFS 2005).  Sudhir has some coverage on command-line provisioning on his blog:
