AS i am a beginner for kinect for windows. I want to develop an application in kinect for windows 1.8V. is it forward compatibility with V2.Please let me know the answer so that i can get started with it.

Each sensor has its own SDK. SDK (1.8 or 2) are different and can't be used for both sensors.
