I am trying to use the background removal feature from the new API using my Kinect for Xbox sensor and the sample application does not work. Could somebody tell me the reason why?

Kinect for Windows SDK is only commercially supported using the Kinect for Windows sensor. Testing for the features are only done with Kinect for Windows devices. That said, it may work in developer mode with the Xbox sensor but remember depth is only 320x240. This may be the issue with the feature.
