Tried starting Windows Live Messenger today, and it would not work. I uninstalled and reinstalled, but I keep getting the same error message. I don't know what to do =/ Any thoughts?

This is the error message;

I don't know if you have the worse problem or I do with this junk.  I can get it to start, but the problem is that it  quits, on it's own, in the middle of conversations.  It also quits if you don't accept the "Today" window, it seems some genius has made Hollywood gossip mandatory reading in order to be serviced by Messenger.  However, I did just read that there is an MSN virus, hopefully that is what's at play here.  If not, this is a worse fiasco than the original Vista !
