我有两个帐户 - 一个MS(Hotmail)和一个Work(我公司的)帐户。我在MS帐户下有2个订阅(MSDN和Pay-As-You-Go)。使用Work帐户,我也可以访问我的一个客户订阅。

Hi,

I have two accounts - 1 MS (Hotmail) and 1 Work (my company's) account. I have 2 subscriptions (MSDN and Pay-As-You-Go) under the MS account. Using the Work account, I have access to one of my client's subscriptions also.

I have configured both these accounts in Cloud Explorer within Visual Studio 2015 Community Edition and I am able to see all the resources under all the subscriptions in these 2 accounts. 

Recently my client enabled two-factor authentication in their AD. After this change, the work account configured in Cloud Explorer got invalidated. I tried re-validating it, but it was not successful. So I removed the work account in Cloud Explorer and tried adding it newly. In the dialog box, after providing my work email, it redirects to my company site for validation. It successfully gets validated there, but after this, the work account is not getting added at all.

Has anyone faced this issue? Any suggestions to resolve this will be very helpful.

You can go to Help-Send Feedback-Report a problem… to raise it up to the Cloud Explorer Product Team to seek for a more professional support.

Meanwhile, you can have a try with the following to troubleshot this issue is caused by VS itself or not:

  1. Clear all folders and files under the folder: %LocalAppData%\Microsoft\VisualStudio\14.0\ and restart the VS 2015 to check it again.
  2. Open cmd and navigate to the VS 2015 installation folder like C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 14.0\Common7\IDE and run the command: devenv /safemode to run it as safe mode, then check if the installed extensions caused this issue.
  3. Click Start and go to Visual Studio 2015 and expand it, then run  ‘Developer Command Prompt for VS 2015’ as administrator and type the command: devenv /resetuserdata to clean up the data cache in VS 2015, restart VS and go to Cloud Explorer to sign in with the work account to check.
