I've create a test suite query using Visual Studio Team Services via the cloud (web based). The query runs fine with the correct results. But when I go to SAVE the query - it complains "Query-based suites can only contain test cases. So, add this clause: < Work Item Type | In Group | Microsoft.TestCaseCategory>"

Yes. I've removed pieces of this query and have narrowed to down  to the "OR". I can't save anything with the simplest OR statement (seems I am no allowed to add an image to show you as I get "Body text cannot contain images or links until we are able to verify your account") .

Hi mebtkleon,

运行查询时不验证条件，因此查询工作正常。但是，基于查询的套件只能包含测试用例，测试管理扩展可以验证条件而不是结果，因此您会收到该错误而无法创建测试
套件。

It doesn’t verify the condition when run the query, so the query works fine. However, the query based suites just can contain test case, the Test Management extension verify the condition instead of result, so you get that error and you can’t create test suite.

如果您在MTM中执行此操作，如果在组TestCaseCategory条件中没有工作项类型，则甚至无法运行查询。

If you to do it in MTM, you can’t even run the query if there isn’t Work Item Type In Group TestCaseCategory condition.
