Has anybody else experienced extremely slow save after manual editing of page source (this seems to be the thing slowing down save, but it may be something else)? It seems to be limited to specific pages, where I have written some of the markup by hand instead of dragging controls to the page. But the syntax appears exactly as if I had dragged the controls. When I say slow, we are talking 30 minutes plus... The computer in question is not unstable in any other ways. Only special thing about it is that it is a Parallels virtual machine running in a Mac. Visual Studio is updated with latest service packs. I disabled all the debugging options that I saw that some people suggested might solve similar problems, but no change. Turned off AV, reinstalled VS, no effect...

If I enter anything manual into any asp tag I see that the properties description of the control (in the properties windows) changes from the name and type of the control to <HTML ELEMENT>, and stays that way for ages, then back to the name and type of the control.
