Hi,

We are using the "Move-SPUser" command to convert a user's domain to another domain. Before running the command, the user had the "Contribute" permission given directly. All the other permissions to the user were assigned via one or more SPGroups. After running the command, upon checking the permissions for the newly converted user, we could only find the "Contribute" permission assigned to him. All the permissions from the SPGroups were not assigned.

Is this expected behavior? If yes, then is there a way to achieve this?

We are using SP2013 on-prem.

All Move-SPUser does is update the identity from one user to another, it does not configure permissions in any way. Can you give us the cmdlets with parameters you used?
