当我们编辑文档时，我们必须打开文档，签出文档，进行更改，保存文件并进一步关闭文档。

Hello,

In SharePoint 2010 environment, there is issue with check in option for the documents while editing the file content.

When we edit the document, we have to open the document, checkout the document, make the changes, save the file and further close the document.
While closing sometimes, there is a checkin prompt while sometimes it is not prompted to check in.

Per my test in my SharePoint 2010, when I edit the file in the office application and close the document, there is check-in prompt. When I edit the file in the office web app and close the document, there is no check-in prompt.

To troubleshoot the issue, check things below:

1。清除IE缓存。

2. Add the site into trusted site in IE.
