Does anyone know if it's possible to use Microsoft Designer 2010 to create a template of an entire site (to include sub-sites and content) that already exists?

I am taking over a SharePoint 2010 project from another person. The person used SharePoint Designer 2010 to create the sites and their content; and may have used InfoPath.  I want to create a duplicate  SharePoint 2010 site that I can play with. I know I can make a template site with SharePoint 2010. I'm wondering if I can do the same using SharePoint Designer 2010.

Hi mbacham- what you should do is look at the pages list in designer and make a copy of them. Then work on the copy.
