I'd like to customize the text in the body of an email that is generated and sent out as part of the SharePoint OOTB approval Workflow which I understand can be done using SharePoint designer.

I also know I can reference fields from the list item that the workflow is being initiated in relation to, eg. [%Current Item: Task Description%].

The question: I have a field in the list item that is a hyperlink, and I'd like the hyperlink in that field to appear as a hyperlink in the email being generated by a workflow. If I use the [%Current Item: *Hyperlink field name*%], will this create a hyperlink? If it only copies plain text of the field, is there a way to make it a hyperlink?
