Hi:

We have office online server up and works on a dev test server displays the hover panel as expected, showing the content of the documment in a pop up hover window.

We now would like to add a second SharePoint 2013 server. We ran the New-SPWOPIBinding command which looks right and checked the Get-SPWOPIZONE which looks right.  Yet the dev machine on a search displays MS documents and pdf's in a hover window with content and on the new server it just displays the default pop up hover panel and not the one from the Office Online Server.

Any thoughts about why it would work on one and not the other?

Hi,

When you add a SharePoint server, do you connect it as a new farm?

If yes, it’s not recommended to connect OOS server to several SharePoint farms, which may cause many issues. I suggest you create a new OOS server in the new farm, it should work fine.
