I made a new custom view. Now when i open a discussion item the flat.aspx is not shown. 

The first picture is my created custom view. When I click on "Büroraumkonzept" the page on picture 2 is shown.

Hi damaris,

Per my test, I create a custom view and click the discussion, then I can reproduce your issue, there is no items.

To fix this issue, we need to set this custom view to top-level folder:

Click modify this view->scroll down to "folders"section->select "In the Top-level folder" in show this view.
