I have a SharePoint online calendar with items approaching 5000, some people said that paging with items limits would help to resolve the issue as long as each paging is separate query to the database.

my question is that on Month view of a calendar, is going previous or next month a separate query ? if not, how do I overcome the 5000 list item limit ?
