I have a task list set up in SharePoint* and have been asked to create the following:

• A weekly email that goes out on Mondays to individual task owners with all the tasks they have open/overdue, organized by due date
• A daily reminder (after Monday) of all the tasks due for the week, organized by due date
  

The questions I have are:

• How would I send recurring emails on a daily basis that pull this information from the SharePoint task list?
• Is there a way to customize the email template (maybe in SharePoint Designer) to pull all tasks assigned  into one email vs. getting individual emails for each respective task?

 *We currently operate on SharePoint 2010 and Office 2013.

Hi,

SharePoint list provides list/library alert feature, which can send email from list/library to users depend on how your site is configured. You can select "Send a daily summary" for those task owners.
