I have customized Content Query Web Part so that I have configured my own MyItemStyle.XSL link there.

I have made it as a new custom WP and I uploaded it on the Web Part Gallery. Everything is ok to this point.

But when I add the WP on the page, it renders somehow the default XSL file URL inside it and that's why my custom Item Style doesn't appear on the Presentation dropdown in WP Properties.

I have added the custom WP on the page and after that I have exported it and checked the code: indeed there is the default XSL URL.

In the web part gallery I have downloaded my Custom WP from there: I checked the code and the URL is ok=custom.

I have done this same procedure tens of times on different tenants and it has always worked.
