As per our requirement we need to provide functionality for end user to View/Edit any Office document in Browser. I have couple of question related to the implmentations :-
- Can we configure Office Web App Server and SharePoint 2016 in the same machine.
- What is the latest version of the Office Web App Server. Is 2016 version avaiable ?
- Will Window Server 2016 Standard version for Operating System will support OFA.

For SharePoint 2016, I suggest you use Office Online server to achieve it. Office Online Server is the successor to Office Web Apps Server. It may be connected to SharePoint, Exchange, Skype for Business and many other applications to display, create, edit Microsoft Office documents.
