Curious about performance.  Running Azure Stack on new server, all SSD, 128GB RAM, 2 sockets.  Tests on storage CSV report back great numbers, but deploying a VM takes hours.  A few days after deploying, VM can no longer be accessed via Portal/RDP.  I can connect in via console from host to VM no problem, but this should not be required.

As far as I can tell, there must me some holdup with the VMs that make up the Azure Stack fabric.  Anyone else having issues with extremely long deployments which often end with "Deployment Failed"?  I've checked all the eventlogs on the Fabric VMs but nothing seems to be indicative of problems.

However, when you say unable to RDP to VM, is this one particular VM or any VM in Azure Stack?
Is there any specific error message?
When a deployment fails, along with the deployment failed message does any error or message come up in the Azure portal?
The slow deployment, is there any network latency apart from when deploying a VM? Is it for a particular size of VM or is it irrespective of VM size?
