and when I click retry it give me this window

Other than the obvious - if it says you can't create a directory, make sure the permissions are such that you can, and that you are running in an account that can - please read the forum FAQ and Guidelines for how to get technical support.  This is not an MS technical support forum.  It's a user-to-user forum.  (You might also ask if EW is even supposed to be supported in Win 8 RC.  The last EW release was well before Win 8, and a "release candidate" is expected to still have bugs.)
