We have been using Expresion Studio 3 for a number of months. We received an upgrade to Expression Studio 4 a couple of months ago under the WebsiteSpark program. The instructions stated that the PID was not necessary, as it would pick up the PID from the existing Expression Studio 3 installations (we have 2 machines installed).

This worked fine except that the stie settings from our Expression Studio 3 installs did not port over. We used v.4 for approx 1-1/2 mos., but needed to retrieve our site settings. We noticed that the Expression Web 3 icons were still in the folder, so we clicked on them and opened the v.3 apps. We were able to retrieve our settings, but when we restarted v.4, we received a splash screen informing us that the v.4 installs on both systems have converted to Trial versions. It has been asking us for a key, and we are down to a week before v.4 apparently expires.
